City Parks Partnerships

There are many types of partnerships and our City Parks Department has been hard at work establishing those partnerships and laying the groundwork for long-term relationships with other agencies and organizations to better facilitate the growing needs of our community. 173rd Fighter Wing - Air National Guard

The City Parks ongoing relationship with the 173rd Fighter Wing of the Air National Guard at Kingsley Field has been an invaluable resource. Below is a list of just some of the projects they have assisted with:

Veterans Memorial development agreement with the Veterans Memorial Committee (includes reps from 173rd and all local Veteran Service Organizations)
Helped to draft the 2020 Vision
Linkville Cemetery Cleanup groups
Fundraiser participation for the Linkville Cemetery

We anticipate many more opportunities for the Parks Division to work with the 173rd this year and in upcoming years.
