The City of Klamath Falls Street Division's top priority is to maintain the City's rights-of-way in a safe condition for the public. In an effort to keep the City's infrastructure in a safe and usable condition, the street maintenance is primarily performed during the summer months and typically include; overlays, crack sealing, pothole repair, utility cut repair and concrete repair. Other activities undertaken in the summer months are street striping, curb painting, crosswalk painting and street sweeping.

In the winter months, snow and ice removal are the number one priority for the Street Division. Snow removal and snow hauling utilizes the largest portion of available man-hours. When weather permits, street crew continue to repair streets, handle drainage issues, repair equipment and perform day-to-day repairs necessary for roadway safety.

The fleet maintenance shop maintains and repairs all of the City's vehicles and heavy equipment. The shop maintains up-to-date records on all rolling stock, to ensure that service and repairs are done in a timely manner. The fleet maintenance shop also fabricates and welds parts and tools for City equipment and departments.
